Character Qualities to Teach our Children

Am cumparat mai multe carti despre problema caracterului de pe site-ul unei familii de homeschooleri(vad ca si-au deschis propria afacere cu carti) - http://www.thelearningparent.com.. 
Mi-a placut lista cu calitati- pe care au incercat sa le defineasca cu ajutorul pasajelor din Biblie (am facut o traducere in romana). 
Am printat lista si am facut un joc cu copiii, sa vad daca pot sa-mi dea o definitie sau un exemplu pentru fiecare.. 
Au fost foarte receptivi.


Obedience/ Ascultarea
Doing what is expected of me cheerfully, immediately, and thoroughly / Indeplinind ceea ce se asteapta de la mine, in mod pozitiv, imediat si complet

Attentiveness / Atentia
Listening with the ears, eyes and heart / Ascultand cu urechile, ochii si inima.

Viewing and treating others as a special creation of God / Tratand pe ceilalti si intelegand ca oamenii sunt toti creatia minunata a lui Dumnezeu

Kindness / Blandete
Treating others as you would like to be treated by them / Tratand pe ceilalti cum ne-ar place tuturor sa fim tratati.

Courage / Curaj
Standing alone for righteousness and yielding my fears to God./ Asumandu-ti corectitudinea si incredintandu-i lui Dumnezeu temerile.

Is choosing to have a good attitude even when circumstances are tough to bear / Reprezinta alegerea de a avea o atitudine pozitiva, chiar daca imprejurarile sunt grele.

Seeing a need and taking responsibility to meet it withoutbeing asked / Atunci cand surprinzi un necaz si iti asumi responsabilitatea de a-l indrepta, fara a fi intrebat.
